This is another simple taxonomy listing widget for basic lists both vertically and horizontally. With a little styling, you can improve the appearance of the lists to your own designs. The ACF image addition is helpful if needing an image for the item.

Taxonomy Terms List

The Taxonomy Terms List widget allows you to create an archive type navigation menu based on a taxonomy. It generates a list of the terms that belong to a specific taxonomy so that each item can be clicked to easily access to the term archive.
Moreover you can:

Define a separator character for multiple taxonomies;
Decide to make the text linked or not to its own archive.

If you use ACF you can add an image to the term.


  1. Category Type : All Taxonomies

  2. Content : Title, Separator, Image (w/ ACF)*

  3. Include/Exclude? : No

  4. Order : No

  5. Counts : Yes

  6. Hide Empty? : No

  7. Presets : No

  8. Layouts : Horizontal, Vertical

  9. Effects : No

  10. Carousel : No
